Pertinent Vocational History
Dr. Gantt is a Wisdom Coach and Spiritual Director who brings a rich history of vocational and personal experience to his practice. In his work as a pastoral therapist and spiritual leader, he has invested his life in individual and community transformation.
In addition, he served as a United States Navy Chaplain and has a profound respect for, and deep understanding of, the needs of military members, veterans, and their families.
He worked as a spiritual caregiver for hospice and has professional knowledge of, and a personal sensitivity to, issues of grief and loss.
Education
Dr. Gantt earned a Doctor of Ministry degree in Pastoral Therapy, a Master of Religious Education degree with an emphasis in Spiritual Direction, a Master of Divinity degree in Theology, a B.A. in Sociology, and completion of a personalized course of study with Matthew Fox at the Institute in Creation Spirituality (Eco-spirituality).
